About Tower of Power

Helping push the sound of brass-infused music into the rock era, Tower of Power emerged from the late ‘60s with a powerful sound and dynamic blend of R&B, soul, funk and AM pop. They quickly became known for their must-see live shows and a string of classic hit albums.

The group, especially the horn section, also became a sought-after backing band for some of pop and rock’s biggest names, including Elton John, Santana, Bonnie Raitt, Huey Lewis, Little Feat, David Sanborn, Aerosmith and more.

Look for Tower of Power to perform classics like “You’re Still a Young Man,” “What Is Hip?” “You Ought to Be Havin’ Fun,” “So Very Hard to Go,” “Time Will Tell,” “Down to the Nightclub,” and “Back on the Streets Again.”

Join us for this stellar performance on August 28 at the Event Center. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show begins at 8 p.m. Tickets start at just $30 and are available at Ticketmaster.com.
