ACTION-BROADWAY NEARS $1M WITH MEADOWS VICTORY
WASHINGTON, PA, Feb. 23, 2013 - Action-Broadway moved closer to $1 million in career earnings when she captured Friday's $22,500 Filly & Mare Winners Over $10,000 Life/Preferred Handicap Trot at The Meadows. The victory lifted her career bankroll to $987,987
The 2011 Mare Trotter of the Year, Action-Broadway was winless in five starts this year before Friday, when she moved powerfully first over for Tony Hall and sailed off to an in-hand triumph in 1:56. Tiffany was second by a length, with Hawaiianphotograph third.
Virgil Morgan, Jr. trains the 6-year-old daughter of Broadway Hall-Photo With Molly for Ken Sommer. Hall enjoyed a triple on the 13-race card while Dave Palone also drove three winners - all for trainer Ron Burke.
